I was listening to the recording that we captured with the waves of cicadas singing ghostly harmonies in the background. You know that feeling of realizing how incredibly pleasurable it is when you feel the silken sweetness melting on your tongue? That’s the feeling I got when I heard the first few notes of “Korea Town Intro” at last night’s house concert. I knew what I had been missing, but until I heard it, I didn’t realize quite how wonderful it was. I especially liked hearing Dan Fogelberg’s “There’s a Place in the World for a Gambler” merging into “Singer Songwriter Heaven.” I’m sure Dan has a prime spot on Cloud 9 and certainly our favorite Gambler has a place in the world and in our hearts.
