Joining Super Saturated Sugar Strings, are Radoslav Lorković and Darryl Purpose.
Radoslav is in town opening for Ellis Paul. He’s known for his intense flair with the piano and accordion and his ability to jam through the genres of classical, jazz and rugged blues.
Darryl was once a world famous blackjack player, and gave up his card fingers for devoted guitar pluckin’.

You are invited to join us for an intimate house concert featuring folk artists Darryl Purpose and Radoslav Lorković.
If you have an extra bottle of wine, or something to nosh on, bring it. If you don’t have time for either of these, come anyway as we will have plenty of sustanance! You won’t want to miss this special show.

Since 1996 Darryl has done over 1500 shows, (McCabes in Santa Monica, Freight and Salvage in Berkeley, The Kerrville Folk Festival, Club Passim in Boston, Eddie’s Attic in Atlanta, Blue Rock in Texas, Kennedy Center, Washington DC, Quantum Arts, Ft. Collins, Colorado and more) Slowing down when he moved to Colorado in 2004 and found a home (and some mountains to hike in). Recent years he has toured a bit to support Next Time Around, (the 2013 release that spent 5 weeks at #1 on the Roots Music Report folk charts) and Still The Birds (Early 2016 release that also spent time at #1.
Darryl is in creative mode, thinking about a new record, and the annual Camp Ned songwriter retreat in the Rocky Mountains.
He is available in 2017 for a few special shows. He would like to get to the west coast, New England, Texas and perhaps the Midwest. Festivals, theater’s coffee houses, and select house concerts. If you’d like to host Darryl, please get in touch.
