Have a look at 2016 …

Relax in the Rockies and hone your craft at Darryl Purpose’s Camp Ned songwriter retreat.

There will be scheduled classes each day; one-on-one mentoring; breakfast, lunch and dinner; concerts and jam sessions. There will also be performances, teacher concerts and camper concerts. Camp Ned 2017 instructors are; Darryl Purpose, Peter Mulvey … Participants get group and one-on-one time with the instructors, as well as just hanging around camp for the week.
Past instructors include, Peter Mulvey, Ellis Paul and Tracy Grammer.

Bring your writing tools (guitar, computer, pen, pencil, paper, recorder, etc) and a penchant for observation. Don’t forget a water bottle, sunscreen, be ready for warm days (70s-80s) and cool nights (50s-60s).

There are two scholarships for young artists who would not otherwise be able to come. Please send an email, and attach a audio file of a song you have written. Nothing fancy needed with the audio, just sing into your phone. 🙂

Darryl will lead a hike to the continental divide on Monday August 28th. We are minutes away from some of the most beautiful hikes in the world. This hike takes you much closer to some of the peaks you can see from the Camp Ned Campus. See some REAL Colorado, beautiful mountain flowers and jagged granite peaks. Meet a marmot. Though this hike is scheduled to humor Darryl, you will not be sorry if you come.
